Colored pencil on cotton paper

Stephania suberosa is a native plant to Thailand which has been used for medicine for a long time. The locals always call it, "Boraped-Pung-Chang" or "Elephant belly fat plant". I think its caudiciform is interesting. It looks like a rock at a glance, but actually, it's a plant with the lovely heart shape leaves!!! I chose to use colored pencil technic because I want it to be a softer look after finished. Especially, this plant, I saw the combination between the massive body part and the flowy ivy of leaves. I think colored pencil could help illustrating the plant's personality more interesting. I am happy that it came out the way I want. ^^
