The series of works titled, ‘Orchids of Western Australia’, is a collection of scratchboard etchings that capture the beauty and uniqueness of endangered and common terrestrial orchids that are native to Western Australia. Western Australia is known for its beautiful native wildflowers and from August to October is Wildflower Season. Where you can see an abundance of wildflowers scattered across scarse, bare bushland, hidden in patches of tall brown and grey blades of grass. In amoungst the grass grow these tiny, delicate native orchids.
