Cochlospermum atracurium is a relatively newly discovered plant species growing in the Arnhem Land of the Northern Territory of Australia. While volunteering at the NT Herbarium, I met Ian Cowie, the former Chief Botanist who discovered it and significantly contributed to the development of Australian botanical science. It was my honour to capture this unique species.
