SBA AWARD: John Waterman Award 2nd Place (Presidents' Choice). This painting was made over three years and is the twentieth work in my series that explores the Platycerium genus. For it, I used a photograph of a Platycerium coronarium specimen as a reference. The plant was photographed by Chris Kirby-Lambert on April 3, 2014 in Bako National Park, Sarawak, Borneo.
